The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests how teens can help prevent headaches:

  • Get an appropriate amount of sleep each night.
  • Eat meals on a consistent schedule.
  • Get regular physical activity.
  • Figure out any pattern of behavior that seems to trigger your headaches. If possible, avoid those activities.
