With the explosion of social media outlets comes the prospect of more online bullying among children and teens.

The American Psychological Association says warning signs that a child is being bullied include:

  • A sudden reluctance to go to school.
  • Torn or dirty clothing.
  • Nightmares.
  • Sudden loss of appetite.
  • Frequent crying, anxiety or signs of depression.
