She almost died of an overdose. Now, this mom wants to be 'the best role model'

Tina Widergren of Ronkonkoma nearly died in 2016 after overdosing on fentanyl. After entering rehab, she has rebuilt her life and today is engaged to be married, is a mother and has launched a contracting business. On Mother’s Day, she said she will reflect on her journey to sobriety and celebrate her milestones with fiance Tim Koerner, 2-year-old daughter Mackenzie and other family members.
