Kaczmarski to return to court as analyst

Nicole Kaczmarski is back on the basketball court.
"Kaz," the four-time winner of the Charles H. Clark Award given by Newsday to Suffolk's top player, will make her debut as color analyst on MSG Varsity Channel 14 for Thursday night's Sachem East at Commack girls basketball game.
Kaczmarski played for Sachem and two other high schools and drew many standing-room-only crowds while scoring a then-Long Island-record 2,583 points. A serious plantar fascia injury ended her college career after she earned All-Pac-10 honors as a freshman at UCLA.
Thursday night she begins a new basketball-related career, working with MSG Varsity play-by-play announcer Carl Reuter. The Sachem East-Commack game will be broadcast Sunday at 9 p.m. on MSG Varsity Channel 14. Kaczmarski will be a regular analyst for girls basketball telecasts throughout the season.
