All this heavyweight rematch needs is Don King to promote it.

With a 10-7 win over Wantagh Thursday in the middle game of a Nassau semifinal tripleheader at Hofstra's north soccer field, Manhasset set up a second meeting of the season with Garden City -- this time with a county title on the line.

The first was a 10-6 Trojans victory in the Woodstick Classic on April 30. Since then, Manhasset (17-1), the top seed from Conference B-II, has won eight in a row by a combined 92-27.

The Indians, winners of the last two Class C titles, will play five-time defending Class B champ and the top seed from Conference B-I, at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hofstra in the Class B final.

To say the Indians have been champing at the bit to play Garden City again would be an understatement. "All this week at practice, we kept saying 'We want Garden City, we want Garden City,' " said Harry Kucharczyk, who led Manhasset with four goals and one assist. "But first we had to get past Wantagh."

Indeed, the No. BI-2 Warriors (14-4) were a game opponent. Tied at 3 at halftime, the Indians scored five straight in the third quarter to take an 8-3 lead. Kucharczyk and Joe Mancini (three goals, one assist) each scored two goals in the run, and Frank Morelli (eight saves) made a beautiful kick stop on a breakaway that led to a goal.

"It's kind of reaction," Morelli said. "You've got to be born with it."

For those born in Manhasset, the Woodstick Classic is an annual destiny. But meeting for a county final? By no means a guarantee. Said Morelli: "We've been looking for this every moment since they beat us."

Massapequa wins. Jamie Shand scored three goals with three assists for Massapequa (14-3) in a 10-3 win over No. 3 Syosset in a Class A semifinal, the first of Thursday's tripleheader. Dylan Sheehan added two goals and two assists, Ian Lukaszewicz had two goals and an assist, and Joe Danaher made 11 saves. Andrew Tralongo (7) and Steven Romano (4) combined to win 11-of-17 faceoffs.

The Chiefs, who last won a county title in 2006, will play No. 1 Farmingdale at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hofstra in the final.

Massapequa amassed 6:30 in penalties, but Syosset (10-7), which was held scoreless in the second half, was only 1-for-7 on man-up opportunities.

Said Shand, "If they converted on those opportunities, it would have been a different game."

Friends advances. Alex Ryan scored on an assist from Zack Westermann on a man-advantage 31 seconds into overtime to give No. 2 Friends Academy (12-3) a 9-8 win over No. 3 Seaford (12-5) in a Class C semifinal. Will Sands had four goals for the Quakers, who will play top-seeded Cold Spring Harbor at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the final.
