Brandon Lerner threw his first no-hitter in leading Bellmore JFK to a 7-1 win over Farmingdale Saturday in non-league baseball.

The junior walked three and struck out four. Noah Shullman Jordan Leopold and Evan Krohm each went 2-for-4 for the Cougars (5-2).

Bellport 8, Half Hollow Hills West 7:Ryan Flaherty hit a walk-off single to score Evan Honce in the seventh inning for Bellport (4-2) in League IV. The hit capped the Clippers' six-run rally.

St. Dominic 2, Chaminade 1:Nick Girardi's infield single scored Vinny Orlando and broke a tie at 1 in the third for St. Dominic (3-1) in CHSAA. Robert Galligan allowed four hits and struck out four in five innings for the win.

SOFTBALL

East Hampton 7, Shoreham-Wading River 6: Amanda Thompson hit a walk-off single in the seventh for East Hampton (6-2) in League VI. Kathryn Hess went 4-for-4 and Deryn Hahn was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

BOYS LACROSSE

Lindenhurst 14, North Babylon 13: Chris Caiazza scored the winner off a pass from Keith Laclair with 2:00 left for Lindenhurst (3-3) in Division I. Senior Steve Zolezzi scored a career-high seven goalsfor the Bulldogs.

Garden City 10, Duxbury (Mass.) 0: Tom Gordon scored three goals and Dan Marino made 13 saves in the shutout to lead Garden City (6-2) in a non-league game at Harvard Stadium.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Our Lady of Mercy 13, St. John's Catholic Prep (Md.), 12:Courtney Chmil scored seven goals, including the winner off a pass from Sara Jackson with 1:53 left for Our Lady of Mercy (3-4) in non-league.

St. Anthony's 8, Moorestown (N.J.) 3: Annie Heagerty and Kerrin Maurer each scored three goals for St. Anthony's (5-1) in a non-league game at Princeton Stadium. Tori Holland made 10 saves in the win.

Manhasset 14, Chatham (N.J.) 11:Jenny Vlahos had two goals and three assists and Cathryn Avallone added two goals and two assists for Manhasset (7-2) in non-league.

BOYS TRACK

Bove excels.

Port Jefferson's Tom Bove won the decathlon at the New York Relays at Randall's Island. The senior won 7 of the 10 events to earn 5,687 points.

Barrett is fast.

Amityville's Sancho Barrett won the 110-meter high hurdles, setting a meet record with a time of 14.23.
