**FINAL** Garden City lost in overtime, 8-7. Jordan Evans scored on an assist from Matt Kopp with three seconds remaining in the extra frame.

Garden City (19-3), which trailed throughout, had its 15-game winning streak snapped. Patric Berkery led the Trojans with three goals, while Tom Gordon scored two.

Jamesville-DeWitt (22-0) won back-to-back titles and has won a state best 44 straight games. The Red Rams beat GC 11-5 in last year's final.

Two excellent games here in Cicero thus far.

**UPDATE**: Less than a minute in the fourth, Berkery  scored on a feed from Justin Guterding to tie the game at 7. It is the first time today that we're tied.

GC goalie Dan Marino made a nice stop on the ensuing possession.

**UPDATE**: Berkery scores his second of the day on a hard righty rip to the far post to again pull GC within one at 7-6.

**UPDATE**: Just 16 seconds into a man-up, Burns scores on a feed from Jeff Edwards to put J-D back up two, 7-5.

**UPDATE**: Dwyer scores his first of the game to open the second-half scoring at the 4:49 mark of the third. GC now trails 6-5.

**UPDATE**: Gordon scored his second of the day on a feed from behind the net from Devin Dwyer with 1:24 left in the half and now it's a 6-4 J-D lead.

**UPDATE**: Tim Edwards scored on a feed from Evans with 2:58 left in the half, and now it's 6-3 J-D.

**UPDATE**: At the 4:56 mark of the second, Burns scored on a shot just under the crossbar on a feed from Jeff Edwards to make it 5-3 J-D.

**UPDATE**: Tom Gordon's first goal at the 6:17 mark of the second pulled Garden City to within a goal at 4-3.

**UPDATE** With 7:40 left in the first half, J-D has a 4-2 lead. Jeff Edwards scored from five yards out on a nice feed from Deke Burns behind the net.

**UPDATE**: Wow, quite a flurry at the end of the quarter. With only 7.2 seconds left in the first quarter, Patric Berkery made a dodge, and slid the ball under the goalie's stick to tie the game at 2. But with just 0.7 on the clock, Tim Edwards scored to give J-D the lead again at 3-2.

**UPDATE**: With 4:05 remaining in the first, Brian Coleman put the Trojans on the board with a hard lefty rip. It's a 2-1 game.

**UPDATE**: J-D is now up 2-0 at the 8:13 mark of the first. McLaren Brady scored on a high shot in front unassisted. Jahelka returned to the field after the goal.

**UPDATE**: Just 1:57 in, Jordan Evans scored his 56th goal of the season unassisted to give J-D a 1-0 lead. Garden City defender Stephen Jahelka was shaken up on the play (he has an injured ankle), and came out of the game a few moments.
