COMING UP
CABARET LICENSE. The Amityville Village Board meets at 8 tonight at Village Hall. The owner of Toomey’s Tavern is expected to attend, and the board may act on his cabaret license renewal request. After hearing complaints from Amityville residents on the noise generated from the club's outdoor concerts, officials held off voting on the license renewal earlier this month. Toomey's owner Reggie DeFilippo says he needs to continue to play music at the bar.
MUNSEY PARK SUBDIVISIONS. The Munsey Park planning board is to hold a hearing at 7 p.m. on a proposed subdivision in Village Hall, 1777 Northern Blvd., Manhasset. Follow reporter Scott Eidler’s Twitter updates at @eidztowns.
BUDGET DISCUSSION. The Village of Huntington Bay board of trustees meets tonight at the Huntington Yacht Club at 7:30. It will discuss the 2014-15 budget. Check Deborah S. Morris’ Twitter updates: @dsvmorris.

CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS. Newsday's Paul LaRocco reports that there was very little discussion -- and no dissension -- Monday afternoon as the Nassau County Legislature voted to require carbon-monoxide detectors and alarms in all commercial public buildings.
