COMING UP WEDNESDAY NIGHT
ISLIP PLANNING BOARD. The board will meet at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. The meeting will include hearings on a Brentwood house of worship's application for landscape and buffer relaxations, and a special permit for a Bay Shore restaurant. LINDENHURST SCHOOL BUDGET VOTE. The school board will meet at 7 p.m. for a budget workshop, and is expected to finalize the budget afterward. The meeting is at 350 Daniel St., Lindenhurst. Follow Denise Bonilla's coverage at newsday.com.

BOSTON MARATHON WINNER RACING ON LI. Boston Marathon winner Meb Keflezighi is heading to Long Island.
Keflezighi, who on Monday became the first American male to win the Boston Marathon since 1983, will compete in the 35th Annual Shelter Island Run 10k on June 21, according to a news release.
Along with competing, Keflezighi will speak to students at Shelter Island High School and attend the pre-race pasta party and post-race events.

POWER OUTAGES IMPACT 80
PSEG-Long Island was a dozen active outages impacting nearly 80 customers in Nassau and Suffolk counties, as of 2:47 p.m. The outages are in impacting a total of 80 customers in Inwood, Franklin Square, North Bellport, Fire Island, Atlantic Beach, Merrick, Valley Stream, North Valley Stream, Holbrook, Syosset and Hampton Bays.
