Ryan Malvin's single in the bottom of the sixth drove in pinch runner Andrew Karkota to break a tie and lead No. 5 Eastport-South Manor in a 5-4 win over No. 16 Deer Park on Friday in the Suffolk Class AA winners' bracket game.

Dave Griffith's two-run home run in the bottom of the first gave ESM (20-3) a 3-0 lead. Malvin went 2-for-3. ESM hosts Sachem North in the winners' bracket final at 11 a.m. Monday. Deer Park (14-9) moves to the losers' bracket and will travel to play No. 8 Commack at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Commack 7, North Babylon 6: Chris Baotera went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, Charles Galiano went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and Nick Berger tossed five innings in relief, allowing five hits with three strikeouts to lead No. 8 Commack (18-6) over No. 10 North Babylon in the Class AA losers' bracket.

West Islip 11, Hauppauge 9: West Islip fell behind 7-2 after one inning as Franco Testani's three-run double and Robbie Scheim's two-run homer gave Hauppauge the early lead in the Class AA elimination game.JoJo Valentine's sacrifice fly in the fifth drove in Tommy Woodburn to give No. 10 West Islip an 8-7 lead. No. 6 Hauppauge led 7-4 before the Lions scored three runs in the fourth, highlighted by Tyler Bell's RBI single that made it 7-6. Sam Ilario hustled to first to beat a potential double play, allowing the tying run to score. With West Islip up 10-9 in the sixth, Chris Anderson (3-for-3) made a diving catch in left-center to strand the tying run at second. West Islip (17-7) will play at No. 3 Patchogue-Medford at 11 a.m. Saturday. Hauppauge is 17-7.

Mount Sinai 6, Bayport-Blue Point 5: Mike Donodio's three-run home run in the bottom of the third gave No. 6 Mount Sinai a 5-1 lead as it held on to win a Class A elimination game. Avery Floyd pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings to earn the save, stranding runners on second and third in the top of the sixth with a 6-5 lead. Mount Sinai (12-9) plays No. 4 Kings Park in an elimination game at 11 a.m. Saturday. No. 7 Bayport-Blue Point finished its season 11-12.

Islip 3, Rocky Point 1: Wil Vega scored from third on a wild pickoff throw to first in the top of the eighth to break a tie at 1 and lead No. 9 Islip over No. 5 Rocky Point (11-11) in a Class A elimination game. A wild pitch scored Mike Grudzinski to make it 3-1. Joe Giuliani pitched 6 1/3 innings and allowed one unearned run and R.J. Going pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings for the win. Islip (11-12) visits No. 3 Glenn in the losers' bracket semifinal at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Shoreham-Wading River 6, Glenn 2: Mike O'Reilly pitched a two-hitter, allowing two runs, two walks and two hit batsmen with nine strikeouts for No. 2 SWR against No. 3 Glenn (17-5) in the Class A winners' bracket semifinal. O'Reilly also went 3-for-3. Jon Criscito went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a solo home run in the sixth. Danny Luppens went 2-for-3. SWR (17-5) will play at No. 1 Sayville at 11 a.m. Monday in the winners' bracket final.

Pierson 5, Port Jefferson 3: Jake Weingartner allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk with six strikeouts in a complete game and Tyler Gilbride went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases to lead No. 2 Pierson over No. 3 Port Jefferson (12-8) in the Class C losers' bracket final. Port Jefferson loaded the bases with one out in the seventh and scored on a sacrifice fly before Weingartner struck out the final batter. Pierson (12-8) plays at No. 1 Mercy at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the final.

Half Hollow Hills East 7, Bay Shore 0: Kyle Alper defeated James Glynn, 6-1, 6-1, at fourth singles to lead No. 1 Hills East in the Suffolk team semifinals. Hills East (19-0) will play No. 2 Ross at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Smithtown East.
