Meier's goal gives Sayville girls win

Emily Meier scored the game-winning goal off a free position shot with 33 seconds left to lift Sayville to a 10-9 victory over Westhampton Friday in a Suffolk Division II girls lacrosse game.

Meier had five goals, Kimmy Marra added two, Taylor Mills chipped in two assists and Madison Hoon picked up eight ground balls in the win.

Rocky Point 10, East Hampton 8: Jessica Hassett had five points (three goals, two assists) and junior Cindy Russell had a career-high four points (three goals, one assist) to lead Rocky Point in Division II.Brentwood 12, Copiague 2: Mia Johnson had three goals and one assist, and Jess Romero and Barbara Johnson each chipped in two goals and an assist for Brentwood in Division I.Mount Sinai 9, Comsewogue 6: Rachel Dillon had five goals and two assists for Mt.
