Nassau extends hours at 4 public pools

To help residents cope with the blazing heat, Nassau County is extending its four major outdoor swimming pools by one hour Tuesday.

The pools at Cantiague and Christopher Morley parks will be open until 7 p.m.; at Wantagh Park from 11 a.m. to 7:45; and at North Woodmere from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Admission fees vary by age and status as a Leisure Pass holder (available only to Nassau residents).
