2 arrested in stabbing of Bronx teen outside school
New York City police have arrested two teens suspected in the stabbing of a student on his way to school.
The 10th grader was stabbed in the neck with a pair of scissors during a confrontation. He’s in critical condition after surgery.
A 15-year-old was arrested Thursday on charges of attempted murder, and an alleged accomplice who’s 16 was arrested on assault charges. Police say tips led them to the suspects.
The Wednesday morning stabbing occurred on Tratman Avenue.
The 10th grader is a special-needs student at Lewis and Clark School in the Bronx, a special education high school.
Investigators say they believe the victim was in a fight earlier this week and was ambushed as he walked to school.
