A-Rod and Cameron Diaz's romance heats up
In case an early-morning apartment sneak-out isn’t proof enough that Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz are dating, we have some other juicy tidbits to share.
Diaz, whose photo was snapped by paparazzi leaving Rodriguez’s Manhattan pad on Sunday morning, apparently spent both Friday and Saturday nights with the Yankees third baseman.
On Friday, Diaz had cocktails and snacks with gal pals Gwyneth Paltrow and Drew Barrymore at Macao Trading Company before Rodriguez met all three ladies at the TriBeCa restaurant, an eyewitness told us.
En route to Macao, Rodriguez called Diaz and asked her to place an order for a “special” plate of steamed fish and vegetables, our spy said.
“When A-Rod arrived, Drew moved so the couple could sit together,” said the spy, who added that the pair acted “cool and casual” but definitely “looked like a couple.”
On Saturday, the two reportedly ate dinner with friend Kate Winslet at Hotel Griffou in the Village.
