O'Donnell slated to star in 'Annie' revival
Following the cancellation of her talk show, rumors are swirling that Rosie O'Donnell will be on Broadway next season playing the villainous Miss Hannigan in a revival of "Annie." According to The Huffington Post, negotiations are now underway.
'Mormon' to hold free fan show
The Tony-winning musical "The Book of Mormon" announced Wednesday that it will present its second free fan performance at the June 6 matinee. To be eligible to receive a pair of free tickets, you must enter at least one of the lotteries for cheap seats held before each performance from now through May 20.
'Newsies' extends B'way run through August
"Newsies," which has been selling out its previews, has taken a major step toward turning its limited engagement into an open-ended run. On Tuesday, Disney Theatricals announced that show has now been extended through at least Aug. 19.
