The search is on for Jason Bohn, 33, who cops say killed his girlfriend Danielle Thomas, 27, in their Astoria apartment on Tuesday night.
Thomas had an order of protection issued against Bohn three weeks ago after he was arraigned on assault charges for allegedly punching her in the face, the Queens district attorney's office said.
During the June 7 incident, Bohn called Thomas while she was filing a police report at the 114th Precinct and threatened to kill her, the criminal complaint said.
Bohn has not been seen since Thomas' death and has not been answering his phone, police said.
