Charlie Sheen: 'I'm not crazy anymore'

Isn't this convenient: Just in time to promote his new show, the most infamous wacko of the last year is renouncing his, well, wackiness.

"I'm not crazy anymore. That was an episode," Charlie Sheen told reporters at Sunday's Fox Network Television Critics Association party in California, reported People.

"I think I'm a different person than I was yesterday. Everything is a lot more mellow and focused and much more rooted in reality."

Wait, so does that mean the Twitter rants, drugged-out hotel scandals and rambling viral videos are finito?

"I've been spending a lot of time with the kids, a lot of time with the family and I'm getting back into work mode," the former "Two and a Half Men" star, 46, said, adding that he's also goddess-free these days: "I'm a single guy hanging out with my children."

Honestly, we knew this would happen. The most disturbingly nutso celeb tells the media he's reformed and we're all going to conveniently forget that his veins are pumping with tiger blood. Suckers, we.

Sheen - whose new sitcom is based on the flick "Anger Management" - also said he occasionally texts with former "Men" co-star Jon Cryer, but has no contact with producer Chuck Lorre. "At some point we are going to have to get some closure there," he said.
