Jay Scheib's 'The Disinherited'
Be a part of a whole new moviegoing experience as you take in a live feature film of a play adaptation shot in real time. Catch the Times Square Arts presentation of "The Disinherited," Jay Scheib's "live cinema performance" of his adaptation of Chekhov's "Platonov," at the AMC Empire 25 this Wednesday and for the following two Wednesdays (Jan. 15 and 22). Scheib will film -- using cameras on the stage in full view of the audience -- and live-edit the film of the play performed at The Kitchen, which will be simulcast as a stand-alone feature film to the AMC Empire 25 screen.
