Chopard collar from 'The Artist' dog Uggie to go to charity

Uggie, the lovable dog from "The Artist," looked sharp at the Oscars with a one-of-a-kind collar designed by Caroline Scheufele, Chopard's co-president and artistic director.
"I was completely charmed by Uggie's role in 'The Artist.' Knowing that [he] is a rescue dog, it inspired me to create a unique piece to benefit an important cause," Scheufele said. Uggie's Academy Award bow tie, made from 18-karat yellow gold and black satin, will be auctioned off and the proceeds donated to the Amanda Foundation, a nonprofit organization that rescues shelter dogs and cats.
