Man shot in head on Bayview Avenue in Coney Island, NYPD says

The NYPD says a man is dead after he was shot in the head in Brooklyn.

It happened just after midnight Monday on Bayview Avenue in Coney Island. Police say they found a man with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police aren't releasing the victim's name until his family is notified.

Police haven't made any arrests.
