Couple wanted for robbing woman in West Village bar
Cops are looking for two suspects who stole a wallet from a woman inside a West Village bar then went on a shopping spree at a nearby CVS using her credit cards.
The woman was inside the Village Tavern on Bedford Street on Dec. 5 when two suspects, described by the NYPD as a male and female both in their 50s, stole her wallet, police said.
The couple then used the woman's credit cards at a CVS up the street on Sixth Avenue, police said.
They were caught on surveillance video inside the store, where the woman was wearing a black fur coat, clutching a black purse and wearing a black hat. The man was bald and dressed in a black coat with a green shirt.
