DEA agents convicted of not disclosing ownership in strip club

Two Drug Enforcement Administration agents were convicted in Manhattan federal court Thursday of failing to disclose a secret interest in the Twins Go-Go Lounge, a New Jersey strip club.

Retired agent David Polos, 52, of West Nyack, and telecommunications specialist Glen Glover, 46, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, were convicted after just a few hours of jury deliberations of hiding their ownership interest in 2011 when they filled out security clearance forms.

Polos, a former assistant director in the DEA’s New York office, was also convicted of not disclosing that he had a romantic relationship with a dancer who entered the country illegally.

The government said the two kept their ownership secret because they knew the agency would prohibit involvement at a club that could attract drugs and prostitution.
