Fans discover lost 106 episodes of 'Doctor Who' in Africa
When it comes to "Doctor Who," apparently nothing can be lost in time.
Fans of the cult British sci-fi series uncovered in an Ethiopian television station video tapes of 106 episodes from the '60s that were believed to be lost, according to the Daily Mirror.
The shows, starring William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton as the first and second iterations of the doctor, were thought to have been extinct after the BBC lost or erased the original footage.
The corporation is negotiating the return of the tapes to remaster and re-release the episodes, the Daily Mirror said.
