Katie Holmes turning to Tom's ex-wife Nicole Kidman for help?

Katie Holmes may be seeking advice from an unlikely source: Tom Cruise's ex-wife Nicole Kidman.

According to Us Weekly, Holmes - whose divorce from Cruise was finalized this week - made "secret" calls to Kidman, who split from the "Mission Impossible" star in 2001.

"[Holmes and Kidman] have spoken over the last few weeks," a source told Us Weekly. "Nicole has been supportive, saying she's been through it too and to hang in there."

Continued the source: "[Kidman] has been a private friend not many people know about."

Kidman and Cruise have two adopted children together.

According to reports, Cruise's desire to raise his and Holmes' daughter, Suri, in the controversial Church of Scientology prompted Holmes to file for divorce from her hubby of almost six years.

Now, Holmes and Suri are living in a swanky Chelsea apartment that reportedly costs a whopping $12,000 a month to rent.
