A man tried on a high-end watch from a midtown store and bolted out the door without paying, cops said.

The NYPD is looking for the unidentified suspect, who they say on Saturday asked a salesperson to show him a luxury Cartier Ballon Bleu watch at the Tourneau Watch Store on 57th Street.

The man ran onto East 56th Street, according to police.

He was caught on the store's security camera.

Prices for that model of watch start at around $4,000, according to Cartier's website.

Police are asking those with information on the theft to call 800-577-TIPS.
