Olivia Wilde is giving New Yorkers a slice of the way one person’s life changed because of Superstorm Sandy.
The actress is executive producer of the documentary short "Rider and the Storm," which is screening at this month’s Tribeca Film Festival.
The 15-minute “Rider” follows the true story of Timmy Brennan, a Freedom Tower iron worker with a passion for surfing whose Breezy Point home — and board — were destroyed during Sandy, and how he moved forward following the devastation.
A screening schedule is available here.
