'Tintin' is truly tremendous
Forget "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" - Steven Spielberg's animated adaptation of Herge's comic-book masterpiece, "The Adventures of Tintin," is the true spiritual sequel to the whimsical action and adventure of the Indiana Jones movies. The film follows the young reporter and his pup Snowy as they help Captain Haddock, the bumbling descendant of a famed seaman, discover his family's treasure while thwarting the Haddock family's long-time foes. (DVD, $29.99; Blu-ray/DVD combo, $44.99; Blu-ray 3-D/Blu-ray/DVD combo, $54.99)
