Is Charlie Sheen behaving — gasp — responsibly?

Earlier this month, it was reported that Sheen’s ex-wife and mother of his twin boys, Brooke Mueller, headed to Mexico for a week-long stint in a rehab facility, where she planned to try a not-legal-in-the-U.S. substance called ibogaine to see if it can cure her addictions.

Well, apparently Sheen didn’t love the idea of his 33-year-old ex migrating south of the border for rehab, saying he felt the treatment was dangerous and that she might die.

Wait, what? There’s a shady drug that Charlie doesn’t condone?

According to TMZ.com, the former “Two and a Half Men” star flew down to Mexico in a private jet, picked Brooke up and brought her back to the States.

Then, according to the site, Charlie sent for his own team of doctors — the ones he used a few months back when he sought treatment during the whole #winning fiasco.
Sources told TMZ the actor has set Brooke up at an undisclosed location and is footing the bill.

Sheen and Mueller have 2-year-old twin boys together.
