A teen-age babysitter was charged Wednesday with murdering a 9-month-old boy in his care after authorities determined that the infant had died from blunt impact injuries and suffered internal bleeding to his organs.

Police said Martin Quirindongo, 17, of Brooklyn, was tasked with taking care Ryan Ferrer, while the infant’s mother was at work Tuesday. By the time officers responded to the baby’s Bronx home, Ryan was already unconscious. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
