That's what the trailer for "The Road We've Traveled," a 17-minute Hollywood-style documentary about Barack Obama's first term in office - narrated by Tom Hanks and directed by "An Inconvenient Truth" director David Guggenheim - promises to deliver when it is released March 15.
"How do we understand this president, and his time in office? Do we look at the day's headlines, or do we remember what we, as a country, have been through?," Hanks says in the introduction.
The flick was created by the Obama campaign to remind voters of the dire economic crisis facing the country in January 2009, and of Obama's accomplishment's since then, suggesting that the country is better than before.
A cutaway to a whirring military helicopter, accompanied by suspenseful music, augers the killing of Osama Bin Laden in the film. The commander in chief's role in the auto bail out and health care overhaul are also dramatically rendered.
The Republican National Committee will not be nominating "Barack the Movie" for any Oscars. "President Obama led our country to higher unemployment, record debt, and higher gas prices," said RNC spokeswoman Kirsten Kukowski.
