Woman kidnaps daughter during checkup: cops

A Queens woman kidnapped her infant daughter while the girl's foster mother was speaking with a pediatrician during a checkup, police said Wednesday.
Leila Rajnarie allegedly slipped away from Queens General Hospital with her 8-month-old daughter Wednesday afternoon. Rajnarie, 40, had gone to the appointment with the foster mother.
An NYPD spokesman said he had no knowledge of the reason why Rajnarie's daughter was in foster care.
