Collin O'Gara's double drove in Steve Carr in the bottom of the ninth inning to give Northport a 6-5 win over Bay Shore Thursday in Suffolk League II baseball. O'Gara went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Lucas Vallas had two hits, including a three-run homer in the first to give Northport (10-5) a 3-2 lead. Rob Kosciuk pitched three scoreless innings in relief to get win and escaped a bases-loaded jam in the seventh.

Comsewogue 2, Riverhead 0: Chris Cepeda threw a four-hitter, walked none and struck out six for Comsewogue (2-9) in League IV. Pat Mayer hit a two-out, two-run single in the third.

Harborfields 10, Islip 7: Matt Johnson went 5-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and three runs for Harborfields (5-9) in League V.

Amityville 6, Westhampton 5: Brian Kretz (4-for-5) hit a double to drive in Billy Heenan (4-for-5) in the bottom of the ninth for Amityville (1-10) in League VI. The Warriors trailed 5-4 with none on and two outs in the eighth before Manny Tolentino singled on a two-strike count. Victor Osorio doubled him home to tie it at 5.

Southold 1, Port Jefferson 0: Anthony Fedele threw a one-hitter, walked four and struck out five and Andrew Conway scored on a sacrifice fly by Matt Reilly in the bottom of the seventh for Southold (5-9) in League VIII.

Farmingdale 3, Massapequa 1: Nick Colasurdo hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the third to give Farmingdale (8-4) a 3-0 lead in Nassau Conference AA-I. Chris Vitale threw a two-hitter, walked three, allowed no earned runs and struck out eight for the win.

South Side 4, Division 3: Griffin Wagner struck out three in the seventh, including two with the tying run on second, to earn the save for South Side (10-4) in Conference A-II. Lou Matarazzo's run-scoring single capped a four-run fifth to give the Cyclones a 4-0 lead.

Island Trees 10, Manhasset 0: Mike Jeannetti gave up two hits, walked one and had 14 strikeouts in six innings for Island Trees (11-3) in Conference A-V.St. Dominic 9, Holy Trinity 0: Vinny Orlando was 2-for-4 with a home run and Robert Galligan pitched 5 1/3 innings, giving up four hits, two walks and struck out eight for St. Dominic (11-1) in CHSAA.

SOFTBALL

Connetquot 3, Whitman 2: Lizzie Frayler stole home in the bottom of the fifth to give Connetquot (11-3) a 3-1 lead in League II. Chelsea LaMarca threw a six-hitter, walked two and struck out eight in the win.

East Islip 11, North Babylon 0: Courtney Blake threw a two-hitter with 14 strikeouts and no walks for East Islip (12-2) in a League III/IV crossover.

Sachem North 8, Northport 6: Chelsea Palma hit a two-run single in the top of the 10th for Sachem North (4-10) in League II. Jessica Sweeney hit a three-run homer in the seventh to tie the score at 4 for Sachem North.

Half Hollow Hills West 4, Centereach 1: Alyssa Bitsimis went 2-for-3, including an RBI triple in the top of the seventh to give Hills West (12-1) a 2-1 lead in a League III/IV crossover.

Lindenhurst 13, Central Islip 1: Lori Michalowski went 5-for-5 with five RBIs for Lindenhurst (4-10) in League II.St. Anthony's 11, St. Mary's 1: Michelle Carbone went 4-for-4 with six RBIs for St. Anthony's (9-3) in CHSAA.

Holy Trinity 3, St. Dominic 2: Nicole Pettito scored on a single by Kate Hogan in the bottom of the seventh to win it for Holy Trinity (7-6) in CHSAA.
