This morning, I am meeting with Dimitry Schidlovsky, an artist who has a studio on Sea Cliff Avenue.
In the afternoon, I’m speaking with Lori Schneider to talk about her five-year-old daughter Penelope who was diagnosed with leukemia at age 3. Although her daughter found a bone marrow match, her family began a nonprofit called Penelope’s Odyssey to raise awareness about pediatric cancer and the need for bone marrow donations. In fact, the organization is holding a bone marrow drive at Sea Cliff Beach on Friday at 7 p.m.
Later, I’ll make sure to stop by for Sea Cliff Civic Association’s “Sunset Serenade 2012,” a music event held on Thursdays at Memorial “Sunset” Park from 7 to 9 p.m.
So far, I’ve received an exciting amount of suggestions regarding places to eat. I greatly appreciate it because it’s my favorite part of the day. On Wednesday, I ate a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw at the Sea Cliff Bistro. It was probably the best pulled pork I have ever had. Keep the suggestions coming.
At every step along the way, I welcome your input. Tell me what you think of the coverage, what you would like me to find out and where I should go. You can reach me via email, Twitter and the comments below.
