Verizon plans E. Farmingdale expansion
Verizon Wireless plans to expand its East Farmingdale facility in September.
At a site plan review before the Babylon Town planning board Monday night, company representatives showed plans that would add 2,985 square feet to the 17,759-square-foot building at Banfi Plaza West, south of Republic Airport. The expansion would include addition of a generator room and replacement of a basement fuel tank. Also proposed are an outdoor storage area and new landscaping.
Pending fire marshal approval of the site plan, the planning board could grant approval at its next meeting, which is scheduled for Monday.
