Off and on drizzle will fall on Long Island overnight and into Tuesday morning, forecasters said, before drier weather returns for the rest of the workweek.

The chance for precipitation overnight is about 60%, with light breezes and a low of 59. Then, Tuesday, temperatures go up to high 60s Tuesday and the chance for showers drops to 20% as the day goes on.

Then, three days of clear conditions, the National Weather Service said, before a cloudy Friday and an unsettled weekend.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 71 and a low of 58. Thursday is to be mostly sunny, with a high of 73 and a low of 60. And Friday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies during the day, a high of 73 and a low of 58.
