If you liked Wednesday’s weather conditions on Long Island, just stick around for Thursday’s, as pretty much more of the same is in the forecast, meteorologists say.

“Nice summer weather,” is how the National Weather Service put it on its Facebook page — “near normal temperatures and fairly comfortable!”

That means sunny skies with highs in the lower 80s for Thursday, and similar for Friday, which is expected to bring an uptick in humidity, said Carlie Buccola, weather service meteorologist in Upton.

That’s not to say, though, that Friday will be uncomfortable — the term “gorgeous,” still applies, she says.
