If the NFL season ended right now, Thursday night's participants would own the No. 1 (Houston) and No. 2 (Jacksonville) overall picks in the 2014 draft.

Wow, look at me, trying to find something positive to write about this abysmal game! But you watch, sometimes these games between scuffling teams surprise, delight, and even entertain (Exhibit A: last week's 32-28 win by the Jags over the Browns).

In fact, the Jaguars have won, and covered, three of their last four games. Meanwhile, the Texans have lost 10 straight games, and yet find themselves as favorites for the third time in four weeks (including a 13-6 loss to the Jaguars 11 days ago). The Jags get their first home win of the season.
