Jordan Goldman scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh inning as West Babylon beat Bellport, 4-3, to clinch its first league IV baseball title since 1998. Bellport had tied the score at 3 in the top of the inning. Winning pitcher Kevin Angiulo struck out four for the Eagles (14-4), and Matt Ballone and Goldman each had two hits in the game.

Lindenhurst 4, Northport 3: Alex Genao (2-for-3) drove in Steve Skon for the game winner with a two-out single in the bottom of the seventh for Lindenhurst (13-2 League II). Ryan Manning went 2-for-3 with a double and Mike Roehrig improved to 5-0 after tossing a complete game, allowing seven hits and striking out two. Northport's Andrew Lertora led off the top of the seventh with a double, advanced to third on a bunt and came around to score the tying run on an errant pickoff throw.

Kings Park 4, Harborfields 3: Harborfields put the tying run on second base with nobody out in the bottom of the sixth, but Nick Venier (eight strikeouts, five hits) got two groundouts and a strikeout to escape the jam for Kings Park (8-7 League V) Nick Van Ophemert's two-out single in the fifth gave Kings Park a 4-0 lead. Matt Capobianco was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Sayville 1, Rocky Point 0: Kyle Van Duyne hit a one-out walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh for Sayville (13-2 League VI). Nick Petrella allowed four hits and struck out six in the shutout.

St. Anthony's 3, St. Dominic 2: Justin Whalley hit a two-out walk-off single to score Ryan D'Alessandro and lift St. Anthony's (9-6 CHSAA). Jake Kurz pitched six innings, allowing two earned runs, two walks and striking out four before being relieved by David Groeneveld who pitched two hitless innings for the win.

St. John the Baptist 6, Chaminade 5: Anthony McQuade's one-out RBI single in the bottom of the eighth drove in Joe Longo with the winning run for St. John the Baptist (9-8 CHSAA). Tyler Krolikowski pitched the eighth to pick up the win.

SOFTBALL

Lindenhurst 7, Whitman 6: Alexis DeClerk hit a two-run run triple to tie the score at six and Sammy Martinez drove in the winning run on a single in the bottom of the seventh for Lindenhurst (6-11 League II). Lauren Gallagher was 3-for-3 with two RBIs.

Smithtown East 1, Half Hollow Hills East 0: Madison Provencher scored the game winner on a passed ball with two outs in the bottom of the eighth to lead Smithtown East (10-7 League III). Corinne Vazac pitched a complete game, giving up three hits, walking one and striking out three.

Shoreham-Wading 3, Westhampton 2: Katie Newell tripled and scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Alex Hutchinson to lift Shoreham-Wading River (10-6 League VI). Chelsea Hawks struck out six and didn't allow an earned run in the two-hitter.

Center Moriches 8, Southampton 7: Jordan Walther was 2-for-3 with a double, triple, three RBIs and three runs and scored the game-winner on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh, capping a three-run comeback win for Center Moriches (13-3 League VII). Leah Harkin hit a leadoff homer to start the inning and Morgan Maier brought in the tying run with a sacrifice fly. Alexa Collins was 4-for-4 with two runs scored.

St. Dominic 3, St. John the Baptist 2: Pinch-hitter Dominique Ehlinger laid down a bunt in the top of the seventh to score Kristina Barbari and break a 2-2 tie for St. Dominic (6-8 CHSAA). Barbari went 2-for-3 with two runs and Vicky Lane went 1-for-3 with two RBIs for the Bayhawks.
