British grandmother's polite Google search goes viral

A British grandmother who is less than tech savvy but incredibly polite has charmed the internet.
Twitter user @Push10Ben took a photo of his grandmother's laptop after she used Google to answer a question.
"please translate these roman numerals mcmxviii thank you," Ben John's grandmother, May Ashworth, 86, had typed into Google's search bar.
His Tweet has been retweeted over 32,000 times.
"The fact that it's gone all around the globe is crazy," Ben, 26, told CNN. "But it seems to be making people happy, which is great. After the absolute atrocity in Orlando, people need a reason to smile."
Others have taken to Twitter to share stories of teaching their elders how to use technology and their support of May's internet politeness.
"This world could use more thoughtful people like this," tweeted user Bonnie Hawkins.
"Nan takes being 'nice lady' to new heights. I like her," tweeted user Kasper Hauser.
Even Google UK had something to say.
"Dearest Ben's Nan. Hope you're well. In a world of billions of searches, yours made us smile. Oh, and it's 1998," tweeted Google UK, translating her Roman Numeral inquiry. "Thank you."
