A former University of Delaware student was among those killed when explosions tore through crowds watching the  World Cup final at a  rugby club in Uganda.

The San Diego-based aid group Invisible Children identified the dead American on Monday as Nate Henn. Henn studied psychology at the university and played rugby there.

University spokeswoman Meredith Chapman said Henn attended from September 2003 to December 2008. She said he majored in psychology but did not earn a degree.

Jason Vanterpool, who played rugby with Henn, said everybody got along with Henn and that he was always smiling.

Vanterpool says Henn played rugby for about one and half semesters but  then had an injury. Vanterpool said Henn also spent a lot of time working at a pizza restaurant.
