A "storybook" Tudor in Bayport is on the market for $1.995 million. The taxes are $28,816.
Built in 1957 and renovated around 2016, the home occupies a 0.67-acre lot on Gerritsen Avenue. It features three bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms, spanning 5,362 square feet.
The design was inspired by similar, fairytale-like homes found in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, said listing agent Janice Zavala, of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
The kitchen is the showstopper of this home, as the seller is an artisan baker and the amenities reflect that, Zavala said. This includes dual islands, a walk-in pantry, wet bar and refrigerator drawers beneath the counters.

Among the updated appliances are vintage gems, too: One of the islands features an expansion supported by 1800s antique table legs, and the backsplash of the range is "a fire back from a manor house," the agent said.
"It's super cozy," Zavala said. "And the kitchen has a fireplace, so it just reminds me of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.' It's a storybook place."
There are three wood-burning fireplaces in the home. Other notable details include a partially finished attic, vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets, a clawfoot tub in the primary bathroom, central air conditioning and a shed with a hot tub. The property is in the Bayport-Blue Point School District.

The house also has a room that was used as a dance studio space, featuring hardwood flooring with cushion underneath and mirrored walls, Zavala said.
"Everything was so meticulously thought through," she added.
