Sports broadcaster Mike Francesa sold his home in Manhasset for $7.5 million. The taxes were listed as $74,818, according to its listing.
Francesa purchased the home in 2008 for $5.2 million, according to property records. A listing on Realtor.com shows the sale closed on Wednesday. According to its description on Zillow, the estate sits on 1½ acres, with the main house spanning 7,204 square feet. There is a guest cottage that totals 1,275 square feet.
Francesa and his listing agent, Adele Kuczmarski, of Coldwell Banker American Homes, both declined to comment.
Unsurprisingly, it's a sporty property: The listing description mentions a bocce court, tennis court, golf putting green and a 20-by-40-foot pool. There is also a golf simulator in the guest cottage.
The main house boasts five bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Other notable features include four fireplaces, two walk-in closets, an elevator and an outdoor kitchen.
Francesa, 72, grew up in Long Beach. His radio show "Mike and the Mad Dog" aired on WFAN from 1989 through 2008, and he launched a solo program afterward. Francesa currently hosts "The Mike Francesa Podcast," which began in 2022.
