A renovated Colonial in Westbury is on the market for nearly $1.7 million. The taxes are $12,386.

Built in 1965, the home contains five bedrooms and four bathrooms. It was renovated in 2017, with updates made to the kitchen, bathrooms and flooring at that time, said listing agent Stevie Fisher, of The Agency.

"This house is in a quiet cul-de-sac," Fisher said. "The only people coming onto that street are people who live here."

The house is located on Demott Court, in the Salisbury Estates subdivision. It sits on a 0.14-acre lot. Totaling 3,100 square feet, the property includes solar panels that have been paid off, Fisher said, along with a low-maintenance water filtration system that runs throughout the home.

"My personal house has it," she added. "And it cleans itself, so that's really nice."

Other notable details include a new in-ground heated pool, a finished basement and an attached two-car garage. The property is in the East Meadow School District.

There are heated floors in the kitchen, main living area and primary bathroom, Fisher said, plus a wood-burning fireplace.

"It’s really cozy for this time of year," she added.
