Aroldis Chapman drives too fast, too

Chapman has caught many headlines ever since he signed with the Reds last year. His 105-mph fastball has every fan checking the radar gun every time he is on the mound. His fastball is usually around 95-98 mph, and he also features a slider and changeup. The 23-year-old left-hander was called up last year for the Reds and pitched just 13.1 innings and struck out 19 batters. He was on the roster for the Reds' brief postseason appearance in 2010. Chapman joins a young pitching core in Cincinnati that includes Johnny Cueto, Edinson Volquez, Mike Leake, Travis Wood and Homer Bailey. Chapman will start the season in the bullpen as a setup man for closer Francisco Cordero.

Here's the problem: That gap isn't as big as it should be.
Chapman, the Reds' reliever and a Cuban import, has "105" tattooed on his left arm to signify the speed at which his fastball has been clocked.
Early Monday morning, however, Chapman was arrested for speeding and driving with a suspended license. Police in Grove City, Ohio (a suburb of Columbus) clocked Chapman at 93 mph headed northbound on Interstate 71 shortly before 1 a.m. Read more here.
