Jose Canseco signs with Worcester

Think you've missed your chance to join in a sing-along of "Jose, Jose, Jose, Jose, Jose, Jose" just because Jose Reyes bolted for the Marlins?
Here comes Jose Canseco to save the day. (Never thought we would type that sentence)
Canseco signed a one-season contract with the Worcester Tornadoes, an independant team in Massachusettes that plays in the CanAm League.
"We're very optimistic Jose will be a very solid ball player for the Tornadoes as our goal is to continue to bring high-level baseball to Worcester," owner Todd Breighner said in a press release.
The 47-year-old Canseco last played in the majors with the White Sox in 2001. He's a 17-year veteran with seven teams, hitting .266 and bashing 462 home runs. Canseco is an admitted user of performance enhacing drugs and is the author of the tell-all book "Juiced."
