Rumors of Cliff Lee and Lebron to NY Up in the Air
A disgruntled and irked Cliff Lee shook his head repeatedly when asked about trade rumors to New York (to the Mets?) and elsewhere.
"How would I know?" the 31-year-old lefty said at Yankee Stadium Thursday afternoon after the Mariners lost. He added he has not discussed trades with his agent or anyone in the Mariners front office.
As for LeBron James, CC Sabathia is sick of talking about the basketball free agency splash that began yesterday. "We can't wait until it's over," he said, speaking on behalf of his teammates. He said has not had any contact with Lebron this summer.
