Red Sox, Reds, Cardinals obtain relievers

It's nearly reached the trade deadline, but three teams reportedly squeezed in trades to bolster their bullpens:
Red Sox: The Sox acquired lefty Craig Breslow from the Diamondbacks in exchange for righty reliever Matt Albers and outfielder Scott Podsednik, according to Jack Magruder of FOXSportsArizona.com. The move allows Boston to move Franklin Morales back into its rotation. Breslow is 2-0 with a 2.70 ERA this season. Albers is 2-0 with a 2.29 ERA and the veteran Podsednik is hitting .387 in 19 games.
Reds: Cincinnati obtained Jonathan Broxton from the Kansas City Royals, according to Ken Rosenthal. It hasn't yet been reported what the Reds gave up in the deal. Broxton is 1-2 with a 2.27 ERA and 23 saves for the Royals.
Cardinals: It wouldn't be the trade deadline if the Cardinals didn't add a reliever, Tony La Russa or no Tony La Russa. This year's winner is righty Edward Mujica, who comes over from the Marlins where he pitched to an 0-3 record with a 4.38 ERA. Peter Gammons reported the deal. The Cards will send minor league third baseman Zack Cox to Miami. Cox is hitting .254 in Triple-A.
