Yankees sign ex-Met Chris Young to minor-league deal

The Yankees have signed former Mets outfielder Chris Young to a minor-league deal.
Young hit .205 with a .283 OBP, eight home runs, 31 runs, 28 RBIs and seven stolen bases in 88 games with the Mets before being released on Aug. 15.
Young, a natural centerfielder, played 55 games in leftfield for the Mets.
