Last year, Mike Bibby spent part of the season with Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat.

Last night, Wade acted like it never happened.

In the second quarter of the Heat 104-94 win over the Knicks, Bibby lost his shoe on Miami's end of the court off a Mike Miller missed trey. Wade saw the shoe, picked it up, and tossed it toward the baseline, then cooly backpedaled on defense while smirking at Bibby.

Bibby had to retrieve the shoe, forcing the Knicks to go four-on-five on the opposite end. Naturally, as would be expected during this bizarre Knicks season, Tyson Chandler easily scored under the basket, putting the Knicks up 31-29.

As immediately noted by several people on Twitter, Metta World Peace did the same thing to Trevor Ariza a couple of seasons ago:

Wade, of course, does remember Bibby, and admitted it was a dose of gamesmanship following the game.

"I'd never done that before, but it was fun," Wade told the New York Times. "I love messing with Mike."
