Former Uniondale star "Fatty" McMillan signs with Fordham

Devon "Fatty" McMillan was one of three signees for Tom Pecora and his Fordham program, it was announced Monday.

McMillan a 5'10" guard, played his senior season at Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh, N.Y., as a senior in 2009-10, leading the Goldbacks to the Section 9 Class AA title. McMillan averaged 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists as a junior and led Uniondale to the 2008-2009 Long Island Class AA championship.

Devon is the younger brother of Hofstra point guard Dwan McMillan.

Ryan Canty, a 6-9 center from Danvers, Mass and Jeffrey Short from JFK in the Bronx also signed letters of intent for the 2011-2012 season.
